PENDIDIKAN DAN KEADILAN SOSIAL DALAM PERSPEKTIF ALKITAB SEBUAH TINJAUAN TEOLOGIS

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

Education and social justice are inseparable themes in the biblical worldview. The Bible presents education not merely as a process of intellectual development, but as moral and spiritual formation that leads to justice, compassion, and responsibility toward others. This article examines the concept of education and social justice from a biblical perspective through a theological analysis of the Old and New Testaments. Employing a qualitative library research method with a theological-biblical approach, this study analyzes biblical texts and relevant theological literature. The findings reveal that biblical education is justice-oriented, rooted in God’s character, and directed toward the transformation of individuals and communities. Education, therefore, functions as a means through which social justice is cultivated as an expression of faithfulness to God.

  ABSTRAK

Pendidikan dan keadilan sosial merupakan dua tema yang tidak terpisahkan dalam pandangan Alkitab. Alkitab memandang pendidikan bukan hanya sebagai pengembangan intelektual, tetapi sebagai proses pembentukan moral dan spiritual yang mengarah pada keadilan, belas kasih, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji konsep pendidikan dan keadilan sosial dalam perspektif Alkitab melalui analisis teologis terhadap Perjanjian Lama dan Perjanjian Baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan dengan pendekatan teologis-biblika. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Alkitabiah bersifat keadilan-sentris, berakar pada karakter Allah, dan berorientasi pada transformasi individu serta komunitas sebagai wujud ketaatan kepada Allah.
